Job Summary
Activity Assistant supports organizing, scheduling, promoting, and directing activities and excursions for the Community to enhance residents' independence and quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting the Activity Director, developing and scheduling community volunteers, communicating effectively with residents and families, maintaining a safe environment, and driving community vehicles. Requires 18+, HS diploma or equivalent, preferred 1 year of experience with seniors, license with Passenger Endorsement (Class B/C preferred), PC/MS Office proficiency, background check and health screening, and possible vaccination per guidelines. Shifts are Sunday–Wednesday 9a–2p; pay range $19.75–$20.75/hr. Located in Livermore, CA; Oakmont Management Group operates across CA, CO, HI, NV.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prefer one year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors
- Requires current Class C license with Passenger Endorsement (Class B preferred)
- Able to operate a personal computer and MS Office programs
- Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (including TB)
- Vaccination may be required per regulatory guidelines
