Job Summary
The Activity Assistant supports organizing, scheduling, promoting, and directing activities and excursions for residents to enhance independence and quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with a varied program of social activities, coordinating volunteers, communicating effectively with residents and families, maintaining safety, and driving Community vehicles. Requires 18+ and a high school diploma (or equivalent); preference for 1 year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors; must have or be able to obtain a Class C license with Passenger Endorsement; proficiency with MS Office; and ability to pass health and background screenings. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Requires current Class C license, prefer either a Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement.
- Able to drive Community vehicles.
- Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
