Job Summary
Plans, coordinates and directs an ongoing program of activities designed to meet the physical, mental, social, recreational, and religious needs of residents; recruits, trains, and supervises the volunteer program; prepares a monthly newsletter; greets residents and families; decorates common areas for events; conducts individual and group interactions; documents resident participation; requires compassionate spirit and enthusiasm for working with the elderly; rotates schedule including weekends; benefits include PTO, insurance, ongoing professional training, and paid holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with seniors
- Proficient in written and verbal English
- Computer experience and ability to learn/use software programs
