Job Summary
Design, create, and facilitate six to seven high-quality daily programs for independent and assisted living neighborhoods, covering movement, culture, and fellowship. Survey and interview residents to build profiles, then coordinate with the team to plan monthly calendars, organize supplies, and stage activity areas. Recruit and oversee a volunteer program while promoting events through daily notices and posters. Arrange resident transportation for groceries, outings, and physician appointments, and assist in organizing resident council meetings. Maintain all program records and ensure programming areas remain neat and purposeful. Requires a valid driver's license, good physical condition, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Good physical condition
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk, and lift to 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Flexible, consistent, imaginative, engaging and have a passion for working with seniors
