Job Summary
Assist the Activity Director in organizing, scheduling, promoting, facilitating, and directing activities and excursions for the community to enhance residents' independence and quality of life. Duties include developing and managing activities, coordinating guest speakers, exercise sessions, clubs, and events; recruiting and scheduling community volunteers; ensuring safety and effective communication with residents, families, and staff; and driving community vehicles. Requires strong computer skills (MS Office), ability to pass background checks and health screenings, and potential vaccination/PPE adherence.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors
- Requires current Class C, prefer either a Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement
- Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- Vaccination and PPE requirements may be implemented per regulatory guidelines
