Job Summary
Organize, schedule, and facilitate daily activities, excursions, and special events to enhance residents' independence and quality of life. Assist the Activity Director in promoting resident participation through clubs, games, educational classes, and guest speakers. Develop, recruit, and manage community volunteers while maintaining a safe environment for staff, residents, and guests. Communicate effectively with families, visitors, and co-workers, and drive community vehicles as needed. Work Friday and Saturday shifts at a premier senior living community in Colorado Springs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Requires current Class C license with Passenger Endorsement
- Able to operate a personal computer
- Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Must pass a Criminal Background check
- Must pass Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- Able to drive Community vehicles
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors
- Class B license
