Job Summary
Organize, schedule, and facilitate activities, excursions, and special events to enhance residents' independence and quality of life. Assist the Activity Director in promoting resident participation through clubs, games, educational classes, and guest speakers. Develop, recruit, and manage community volunteers while maintaining a safe environment for all staff and guests. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and co-workers while driving community vehicles as needed. Work full-time Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM at the Ivy Blue Oaks senior living community in Roseville, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Requires current Class C, prefer either a Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- Able to drive Community vehicles
- Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors
- prefer either a Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement
