Job Summary
Assists the Activities Director in implementing an activities program for residents, conducts planned activity programs to meet the functional levels, needs, and interests of each patient, and maintains attendance/participation records. Completes assessments and care plans, gathers information to design multi-faceted activities, assists in developing the Activities Calendar, and ensures documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations. Supports residents through 1:1 interaction, small group activities, and large group meetings; assists with off-site activity trips when available; helps residents and guests participate in activities with direct care staff; fosters a sense of community within the facility; and adheres to privacy guidelines and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 months related experience and/or training (preferred)
- Meets all state-specific requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
