Job Summary
Activity Aide at West View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in West Warwick, RI. Full-time role to lead planned and spontaneous group and individual recreation activities/programs for residents, fostering well-being, dignity, and purpose under the direction of the Activities Director. Duties include creating a vibrant social atmosphere and ensuring adherence to department and facility policies. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least three years of long-term care experience, and preferred experience in an Activities Department within healthcare; flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of three years of experience in long-term care
- At least two years of experience in an Activities Department within the healthcare field (or equivalent) preferred
- Volunteer or paid experience with geriatric/frail elderly populations preferred
