Job Summary
Plan and implement recreational activities, including arts and crafts, games, and entertainment programs, while encouraging resident participation and socialization. Monitor resident engagement, provide feedback to improve the activity program, and collaborate with healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans. Maintain accurate records of resident participation and goals, and assist with resident assessments to identify activity preferences and needs. Work in a fast-paced environment supporting a positive atmosphere for seniors.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents with mobility issues
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in geriatric care or activities programming preferred
