Job Summary
Activity Aide for a skilled nursing facility. Support the Activity Director with planning and implementing individual and group activities for elderly residents. Part-time role with hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Prior experience in long-term care (e.g., Certified Nurse Aides, Direct Support Professionals) is welcomed. Emphasizes engaging residents in purposeful activities, patience, compassion, and strong organizational skills. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Patience and compassion when dealing with others, especially those who are sick, injured, elderly, or from different backgrounds
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments
