Job Summary
Create and maintain a culture of engagement by promoting Life Enrichment services and minimizing barriers for residents to participate in daily activities. Lead and assist with group and one-on-one activities, while planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating events that adhere to the 7 dimensions of wellness. Escort residents to and from outings and medical appointments, driving the community bus following proper safety and assistive device securement guidelines. Complete all necessary documentation for compliance, maintain organized activity spaces, and support volunteer efforts and seasonal décor setup. Utilize the LifeLoop and community medical records systems, attend care plan meetings, and assist with new associate training.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to consistently communicate and express joy, compassion, patience, and professionalism toward residents, resident families and loved ones, third party contractors and vendors, and community Associates
- Ability to generate interest, excitement, and enthusiasm about activities and events at the community
- Ability to use basic technology systems
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Up to 1 year experience working with seniors preferred
- 1+ years of senior activity engagement preferred
