Job Summary
Provides assessment, plans, and conducts therapy sessions on an individual and group basis to support positive changes in patients' basic functional ability, independent functioning, and hospital experience through therapy, education, and recreation. Responsibilities include documenting patient responses to treatment, evaluating progress, and delivering educational and group therapy interventions while applying knowledge of mental illness and community resources to facilitate recovery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related area
- Internship in related area
- Experience working with patients with mental illness and chemical dependency
