Job Summary
Assists in the planning, implementation and evaluation of recreational social, intellectual emotional and spiritual programs in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan. Supports the Activity Director in developing schedules and distributing monthly activity calendars; conducts group or one-to-one activity programs; moves and arranges equipment; assists residents with moving to/from activities; maintains a tidy activity area and ensures compliance with care plans and regulations. Requires 1-2 years' healthcare-related experience and aptitude for arts and crafts; high school diploma or equivalent desirable. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and paid vacation.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years' experience in related position, in healthcare environment preferred
- Aptitude for and/or some training in arts and crafts required
- High school diploma or equivalent desirable
