Job Summary
Deliver and coordinate programs and activities to support habilitation, wellness and recreation for adults at ADH sites, in participants’ homes, and via telehealth; complete comprehensive assessments and individualized treatment plans aligned with each participant’s physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs; travel between sites and to participants’ homes; implement interventions, develop care plans and progress notes, and assist with event planning and monthly reporting; provide coverage at other ADH sites as needed; collaborate in IDT meetings and communicate daily activity programming; requires OTA education and MA licensure, CPR, and 1-2 years’ geriatric and program-development experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must have successfully completed an O. T. A. curriculum approved by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education, Inc. with a minimum of an Associate’s Degree.
- Maintains current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in the Commonwealth of MA
- Maintains current CPR Certification
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with a geriatric population.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in program development.
