Job Summary
ADL Instructor develops and delivers curriculum and assessments to help clients gain daily living independence, including instruction on home-management tasks and technology accessibility. Responsibilities include formulating lesson plans, evaluating client abilities, creating individualized instruction plans, training clients on tablets/iOS/devices and accessibility features, teaching independent living skills (cookery, cleaning, personal care, home management) with adaptive tools, documenting progress in a CRM (Salesforce), collaborating with the team, delivering in-home training as needed, planning events that foster independence, and maintaining safe, sanitary instructional spaces. Education and credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation/education-related field and a Food Handler License; minimum one year of work experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in rehabilitation, education, psychology, sociology, or related field in rehabilitation teaching, rehabilitation, or education of people with disabilities
- One year of work experience
- Food Handler License
