Job Summary
PRN Activities Assistant (Activities Leader) provides individualized activity care and services for residents at Mercer Healthcare Center. The role involves working directly with residents to foster socialization and community involvement, planning and conducting a variety of activities, and collaborating as an interdisciplinary team member to support aging, rehabilitation, and recovery. The ideal candidate is energetic, passionate, creative, gentle, and hard-working, with experience in healthcare settings and basic computer skills. Must be comfortable with residents who are confused and possess an active state driver's license. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- active state driver's license
- prior healthcare experience preferred
- ability to plan, organize, and conduct activities
- basic computer literacy
- willingness to work with residents including those who are confused
