Job Summary
Energetic, creative Activities Leader to plan and lead one-to-one and group resident activities on/off units, including community outings and holiday events. Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, supplying materials, supervising volunteers, assisting with ADL-related tasks, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to foster resident socialization and well-being. Requires high school diploma or GED, about 1 year of resident activities experience, and dementia experience; strong interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to engage with residents, families, and staff to enhance quality of life.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of resident activities experience
- Dementia Experience required
- Prior experience preferably with related software applications
- Must have the ability to plan, organize, and conduct a variety of activities
- Must be able to deal tactfully with team members, residents, families, and the public
