Job Summary
Activities Leader/Assistant responsible for developing and delivering engaging activities for residents in a post-acute/long-term care setting. Create, plan, organize, and conduct a variety of activities to foster socialization and community involvement, working as part of an interdisciplinary team to enhance residents’ quality of life. Requires energy, creativity, empathy for elderly residents, and a valid driver’s license. Must be comfortable with elderly populations and able to engage residents in meaningful, individualized activities. Full-time role with every other weekend schedule; benefits package including PTO, 401(k) with employer match, and healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Great attitude, comfortable with elderly
- Prior work/life experiences, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Prior experience preferably with related software applications
- Must be able to plan, organize, and conduct a variety of activities
- Basic computer literacy and skills
- Must possess an active state driver’s license
