Activities Leader

Job Summary
Provide individualized activity care and services for residents as part of the activities department and interdisciplinary team. The Activities Leader will be energetic, passionate, and creative, working directly with residents to support socialization and community involvement while adapting activities for aging, rehabilitation, and recovery contexts. Must be gentle, responsible, and able to engage residents, including those who are confused. Requires a high school diploma or GED and an active state driver’s license; basic computer literacy and familiarity with related software are preferred. The role supports a post-acute/long-term care setting within CommuniCare facilities with competitive wages, PTO, and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Active state driver’s license
- Prior work/life experiences, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Prior experience preferably with related software applications
- Basic computer literacy and skills
- Ability to plan, organize, and conduct a variety of activities
