Job Summary
Lead guests on hiking, wildlife tours, shooting sports, and mountain biking while managing guest service vehicles and equipment maintenance. Coordinate activities at the Fish House and assist with assigned projects, projects, and tasks as directed. Mentor and train Activities Attendants on guest relations, cleanliness, and professionalism, while ensuring all safety, sanitation, and New Mexico legal standards are met. Greet visitors, direct them to self-guided options, and communicate feedback to leadership. Maintain first aid and CPR readiness throughout the season. Live in company housing on Vermejo headquarters with a valid driver's license required for vehicle operation.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment
- Driving record meeting Company and insurance provider standards
- Documentation establishing identity and employment authorization within three days of hire
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift and/or move 75 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds

Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Certification in recreation, tourism, or a related field
- Experience in target activities, including fishing (fly and/or spin), hiking, mountain biking, archery, and shooting sports
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Experience working in a luxury hospitality setting
- Passion for nature, adventure, and creating unforgettable experiences for guests
- Self-directed, energetic, and motivated with multi-tasking capabilities
- Creative, adaptive, and willing to work with existing core resort philosophy and style
- Clean work habits and attention to detail
- Professional manner in and out of the work setting
- Care and compassion for team members, putting the needs of the team before your own
