Job Summary
Drive residents to appointments and events, transport residents to various locations of their choosing, perform daily bus and passenger vehicle safety checks, maintain safety documentation and vehicle cleanliness, assist in planning and executing events for residents, track transportation in Cubigo, and communicate with Events and Adventures Director. Requires CA CDL, high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of bus/commercial vehicle driving, comfort with seniors, strong communication, and ability to work Tue-Sat, 8am–5pm; vaccination per policy; RCFE licensing/background requirements must be met. The role emphasizes mobility support, resident engagement, and safety within a senior-living transportation program.
Required Qualifications
- 25 years of age or older
- current and valid California commercial driver’s license
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of driving a bus or commercial vehicle
- Comfortable working with and supporting seniors in the use of technology
- Experience or interest in interacting with and deeply relating to seniors
- Meets all applicable licensing and background requirements to work in a licensed RCFE
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work Tuesday - Saturday, 8am - 5pm
- Vaccination or reasonable accommodation eligibility per COVID-19 policies
