Job Summary
Design and oversee a comprehensive life enrichment calendar for Assisted Living and Memory Care residents, planning daily activities including fitness, music, arts, and outings. Build meaningful relationships with residents while coordinating special events, holiday celebrations, and family programming. Recruit, hire, train, and manage Lifestyle Assistants, Drivers, and Concierge personnel to execute the program. Create and maintain resident transportation schedules, manage the activity budget, and ensure compliance with state activity requirements. Some weekends and holiday coverage required. Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
Required Qualifications
- Activity Professional Requirement Course certification
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Minimum two (2) years experience as Activity Director or Activity Assistant at an independent living, assisted living or skilled nursing community
- Working knowledge of appropriate Microsoft Office programs
- Attention to detail
- Energetic/enthusiastic demeanor
- Ability to multi-task
- Positive Criminal Background Screening
- Valid driver's license for the state where the vehicle is operated
- CDL with passenger endorsement
- Adherence to Company Drug Free Workplace policy

- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to lead a programming department independently
- Experience working with Memory Care/dementia populations
- Knowledge of local recreational opportunities
