Job Summary
Lead engaging activity programs for residents, including planning and implementing activities at least one month in advance; assess and address residents' spiritual, social, recreational, and emotional needs; collaborate with nursing to align activities with physicians’ orders; coordinate resident council meetings; manage calendars, documentation (PCC), and regulatory compliance for activity programs; role requires ADC certification or equivalent experience in long-term care; position located in Detroit, MI with full-time day shift.
Required Qualifications
- Activity Director Certified (ADC) through NCCAP OR minimum of five years of experience directing activities in a long-term care setting
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Must be 18 years of age or older
