Job Summary
Activities Director at Country Meadows/Ecumenical leads and coordinates activity programs to promote independence, fulfillment, and wellness for residents. Responsibilities include organizing a well-balanced calendar of programs, directing Activities Associates, collaborating with campus leadership on new initiatives, and modeling proactive team leadership to support wellness practices.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in group socialization, fitness, wellness or recreation programs required.
- Previous management experience preferred.
- Activity Director or Fitness/Wellness certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local community and regional resources.
- Skills in training, directing and evaluating team and program performance.
- Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.
- Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.
