Job Summary
As Activities Director for the Residential Rehabilitation program, lead and supervise recreational and social activities to support patients’ rehabilitation goals; coordinate activities to align with company objectives; supervise Neuro Rehabilitation Specialists and ensure safety during behavioral incidents; oversee transfers and use of equipment (wheelchairs, gastric feeding tubes) with appropriate transfer techniques; deliver in-service training and assist the Residential Rehabilitation Manager with staff development; coordinate patient transport as needed and maintain compliance with certifications and licenses; contribute to a positive, collaborative environment and participate in continuing education and benefits programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in supervisory/administrative roles
- Activity Leader State Certification
- CPR, First Aid, and behavior training certifications
- Completion of CNS Learn to Earn program preferred
