Job Summary
Oversee the activities department, including scheduling events and activities, staffing the activities assistants, and ordering supplies. Develop engaging programming for residents, collaborate with vendors/performers, document findings for the nursing department, and contribute to resident care goals within the therapeutic team. Manage budgeting-related tasks for activities and maintain compliance with privacy policies. Foster resident physical, mental, social, and spiritual engagement, while supporting ongoing education and training for staff.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- At least one (1) year's experience or training in directing group activity.
- Supervisory experience in a health care setting is preferred.
