Job Summary
Provide leadership and direction to associates to guarantee the delivery of high-quality social, physical, educational, and spiritual programs for residents. Monitor industry trends and support the development and execution of robust, varied, and meaningful activities. Develop and share strategies and best practices while serving as a project manager for company-wide and wellness initiatives. Implement efficient strategies and tools to measure resident participation and satisfaction. This critical role within the Brightview community leadership team focuses on fostering a spirit of vibrant living and motivating residents to live their fullest lives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a field that lends itself to the support of vibrant living in a senior environment
- Minimum of seven years of experience in a high energy, public role
- Three of which are in a leadership/supervisory capacity
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and influence others
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- The ability to connect and communicate effectively with diverse audiences
- Excellent written communication skills
- Proper grammar and professional writing
- Ability to apply logic, reasoning and creative thinking to solve nebulous or complex problems and challenges
- Experience working with in a multi-site environment
- Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet based applications such as web conferencing
- Ability to manage projects and to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of senior living regulations and safety considerations for working with seniors
- Strong customer orientation to older adults
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm and energy
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
