Activities Coordinator

Job Summary
The Activities Coordinator will collaborate with Support Services and Property Management to plan and implement social activities that enrich the lives of tenants in THC Permanent Supportive Housing. Responsibilities include maintaining activity lists, managing budgets, coordinating with case managers, and establishing partnerships with external organizations. The ideal candidate will have experience with diverse communities, and be organized, creative, and able to handle multiple tasks effectively. A High School degree is required, with a preferred BA/BS degree, as well as valid driver’s license and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Candidates must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and pass background checks.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent required
- BA/BS degree preferred
- Experience working effectively with diverse, low-income, homeless and/or formerly homeless populations
- Activity coordination, event planning and/or volunteer coordination experience
- Experience in leading and/or developing training and workshops
- Valid California Driver’s License and a clean driving record
- Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately and write business correspondence
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Customer service skills
- Ability to read, understand, and apply language from manuals, policies, technical procedures, and instructions
- Must pass all post-contingency offer background checks, reference checks, and TB screening clearances
- Must read, communicate orally, and write in English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in non-profit or public sector
- Understanding of a Harm Reduction model
- Knowledge of San Francisco resources
- Bilingual skills
