Job Summary
Coordinate and implement activities, programs, and special events for residents to support physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being. Oversee planning on assigned units, assist with resident outings and transportation, and instruct volunteers and activity assistants. Manage activity equipment, lead the Music & Memory Program, and document resident engagement in care plans and assessments. Conduct assessments as directed and assist in dining room feeding support. Schedule Sunday through Thursday, 8am to 4:30pm. Starting wage is $18.25/hr up to $20.46/hr. Join a faith-based organization providing long-term and skilled nursing care in Poulsbo, WA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to organize, coordinate and implement activities for residents, including volunteers and other staff
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of WA State skilled nursing activity assistant regulations helpful but not required
