Activities Coordinator

Job Summary
Execute pre-planned activities for children, teens, adults, and families, including crafts, games, and themed events. Lead groups while operating AV equipment to maintain an engaging atmosphere. Set up spaces, manage materials, and ensure cleanup after each activity concludes. Greet members, answer questions, and guide guests to appropriate locations. Maintain a safe, clean environment by reporting hazards immediately to the Member Experience team. Requires CPR and First Aid certification, one year of customer service experience, and familiarity with children ages 3 and up. Flexible availability includes weekends, holidays, evenings, and varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid certification
- One year of customer service
- Experience with Children ages 3 and up
- Outgoing and energetic personality
- Enjoyment working with people of all ages
- Ability to lead a group, give instructions, and encourage participation
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Comfortable being active and on your feet for long periods
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors in various weather conditions
- Willingness to jump in and help wherever needed during events
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Experience in hospitality, recreation, child care, or similar
- Familiarity with customer service or member-facing roles
- Ability to safely lift items up to 30 pounds
- Continuous walking and standing
- Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, pulling, and repetitive actions
- Be physically able to reach, bend, and stoop
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Must be effective in listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by members, guests, and team members
- Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, and extended hours as business dictates
Desired Qualifications
- Recreation experience
- Dance classes (e.g. Zumba, line dancing)
- Yoga, stretching, or basic fitness sessions
- Water aerobics or poolside group fitness
- Arts and crafts instruction for children and/or adults
- Singing, music, or performance-based activities
- Family trivia, games, scavenger hunts, or themed challenges
