Job Summary
Develop and implement lifestyle programs that promote resident well-being through monthly event calendars, newsletters, and social media. Coordinate special functions, conduct resident surveys for program improvements, and manage transportation logistics including safe loading, driving, and scheduling. Recruit, train, and supervise department staff while developing and training community volunteers. Manage department budgets, track inventory, and ensure strict compliance with state, federal, and local regulations for vehicle safety and operations. Alert care staff of medical needs and collaborate with sales to communicate program outcomes and brand opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Required credentials/licensing for vehicle(s) a driver(s)
- Understanding of State, Federal and local regulations for maintaining safe vehicles
- Ability to lift and transport residents safely
- Ability to drive residents as needed
- Ability to oversee scheduling of transportation for recreational and medical outings
- Ability to evaluate transportation program on a regular basis
- Ability to recruit, hire, train, motivate, and supervise department staff
- Ability to develop and train volunteers
- Ability to manage the department within budgetary guidelines
- Ability to track inventory and order supplies
- Ability to ensure regulatory compliance
- Ability to report issues or concerns immediately
- Ability to comply with Senior Living standards and regulations
- Ability to display a positive and professional image
- Ability to maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Ability to wear the proper uniform or clothing and name tag
- Ability to represent Senior Living principles and core values
- Ability to effectively communicate Senior Living vision
- Ability to collaborate with sales to cultivate the program brand
- Ability to create and implement an approach to capturing useful data
- Ability to provide monthly reporting regarding attendance and other metrics
