Activities Coordinator

Coordinate and organize social and person-centred activities for residents at Discovery Care, working with the home manager and care staff to schedule light exercise, arts and crafts, puzzles, cultural events, and community outings; plan daily activities including group and one-to-one sessions; tailor activities to residents’ likes, dislikes, and cultural calendars, ensuring activities are documented in Care Plans and accessible to relatives; liaise with staff to arrange transport for outings and support mealtimes as needed; involve new residents in activities and coordinate with staff to meet individual requirements including celebrations and special occasions; travel to the Margate area as required.
