Job Summary
Plan and implement community interactive experiences and interest-based classes as specified in each client's individual support plan. Provide training to clients in identified areas and function as part of the interdisciplinary team. Complete required documentation per state and federal regulations, maintain certifications in medication administration, CPR, and First Aid, and report suspected abuse or neglect to the supervisor or department head. Comply with behavior support policies, implement approved programs, and coordinate activities for consumers within the Day Program. Report reasonable suspicion of crimes against residents to the Indiana State Department of Health and Law Enforcement. Attend departmental meetings and complete all required training.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be willing to flex schedule according to client's needs
- Must be willing to flex schedule according to Day Program needs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with children or adults with developmental disabilities preferred
- Experience with planning/organizing/executing activities
