Job Summary
Assists activities directors by planning, organizing, developing and implementing daily therapeutic activity programs to meet individual patient needs and interests in a long-term care/assisted living setting. Coordinates activities with other departments, assists with developing volunteer activity assignments, conducts resident visits, helps with crafts and projects, arranges transportation and accompanies residents on outings, maintains activity care plans and scheduling, and performs related administrative tasks including documentation. Requires a valid driver’s license (21+) and AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification; high school/GED or associate degree are preferred. Requires vaccination compliance and E-Verify participation as part of employment. Drives the company vehicle for resident outings or appointments and supports resident and family involvement in facility activities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and must be at least 21 years of age
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification
