Job Summary
Plan and implement recreational activities, including games, arts and crafts, and social events, to meet residents' social, emotional, and physical needs. Develop relationships with residents to understand their interests, prepare monthly activity calendars, and assist with outings and special events. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans and maintain accurate records of participation. Provide support for daily living activities, mealtime programming, and transportation as needed. This role requires working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and the ability to lift 25 pounds. Join our recreation team at Woodlake at Tolland, a short and long-term care facility in Tolland, Connecticut.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and move independently throughout the facility
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Previous recreation experience in a SNF or long-term care setting is preferred
