Job Summary
Activities Assistant responsible for coordinating and delivering resident-centered activities to improve physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Duties include facilitating daily activities, onboarding new teammates, encouraging residents to participate in wellness initiatives, coordinating volunteers to expand the activity program, and engaging families and the community to enhance participation in residents’ well-being. The role supports a compassionate, collaborative care environment and contributes to the overall activity program within a geriatric care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working with geriatric population is preferred
- CNA certification is preferred. Must be open to getting CNA certification within the first six (6) months of employment
- Vaccination policy requiring COVID-19 vaccination for all employees and new hires; exemptions available upon supervisor review
