Job Summary
Present programs that meet emotional, intellectual, social, spiritual, and vocational needs of residents and staff while teaching and facilitating activities. Monitor resident attendance, well-being, and condition changes, reporting issues immediately to associates or departments. Assist residents with requests, coordinate transportation, and drive the non-CDL mini shuttle bus as necessary. Support open communication, represent company standards, and ensure regulatory compliance. Reduce costs, create efficiencies, and perform function ability assessments as requested. Work within the department and across the community while maintaining high grooming standards. Part-time Saturday through Monday shift with flexibility for earlier or later events; holidays required. Valid driver's license with good record and First Aid certification needed. High school graduate with one to two years of Life Enrichment experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Valid driver's license and proof of good driving record
- First Aid Certification
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be able to or willing to learn to drive our non-CDL mini shuttle bus and have a good driving record
- Must pass pre-employment process including drug screen, job specific-related physical, TB test, and background check
Desired Qualifications
- One to two years' experience in Life Enrichment programs (preferably with seniors)
- Background in different dimensions of Art of Living Well is beneficial
- Experience leading exercise classes and assisting with exercise equipment
- Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including: Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applications
