Job Summary
Activities Assistant needed in a Watermark Retirement Communities senior living environment. Responsibilities include planning and implementing resident activities and programming, coordinating with care staff, and ensuring engaging programs that enhance resident well-being. Strong communication skills and computer literacy are required; weekend and holiday availability may be needed; driving may be required. Preference given to candidates with 2+ years of experience in activities, experience in short- and long-term care, and a degree or related field in therapeutic recreation or similar. Required Qualifications
- 2 years’ experience in preparing and implementing Activities preferred
- Experience working in short term and long term care preferred
- 2-4 years’ experience in resident programming preferred
- Degree in therapeutic recreation or related field a plus
- Passion for seniors
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literate
- May be required to drive
