Job Summary
Lead assigned activity programs by offering diversified recreational activities with sufficient supervision for each event. Develop programs for residents, including those confined to rooms, while engaging and motivating participation. Greets new residents to include them in activities and introduce them to peers. Assist in planning parties, decorating the community for seasons and holidays, and maintaining a current event schedule. Support census building initiatives and maintain records of activity participation and acceptance as required by state law. May drive the company vehicle to social destinations when required. Work various schedules and shifts, including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Able to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Able to write simple correspondence
- Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed
- Weekends required
