Job Summary
Plan, organize, and lead recreational, therapeutic, and social activities for residents, including games, crafts, exercise, music, and holiday events. Encourage participation in individual and group programs based on resident interests and abilities, while providing personalized visits for those unable to attend groups. Maintain activity calendars, attendance records, and ensure all equipment is clean, organized, and safe. Assist with activity assessments, care plans, and documentation, observing and reporting changes in resident participation. Collaborate with other departments to support resident engagement and ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness. Treat all residents with dignity and respect, maintaining confidentiality and supporting their choice. Follow facility policies, safety procedures, and infection control practices. Valid driver's license required. High school diploma or GED preferred.
