Job Summary
Coordinate and plan resident activities by assisting the Activities Director in creating the monthly calendar, organizing parties, and executing daily programs. Transport residents as needed while maintaining safety and security procedures. Manage resident and employee events on a Monday through Friday schedule, with occasional weekend and evening requirements for community activities. Requires First Aid, CPR, and Food Handlers permits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to resident, family member and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding and to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Knowledge of Word Processing software
- First Aid Certification
- CPR Certification
- Food Handlers Permit
- Valid Driver's License in good standing
- Skill with elderly people
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to stand occasionally
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Schedule for Monday through Friday, 9-5pm
- Occasional weekends and evenings for community events
