Job Summary
Plan, organize, and direct daily events and programming for residents, including arts & crafts, performances, and group activities. Build relationships with residents to tailor programming to their interests and encourage participation that stimulates physical, mental, social, and spiritual potential. Coordinate individual and group sessions while assisting with resident care goals within the therapeutic team framework. Document and report any unusual findings or reportable events immediately. Maintain a cheerful disposition and handle residents across varying maturity levels while communicating tactfully with personnel, families, and the public. Full-time role with weekly pay at $16 an hour; vaccinations required.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or its equivalent
- ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
- at least 18 years old
- ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public
- patience

- cheerful disposition
- enthusiasm
- willingness to handle residents based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioning
- up to date with COVID and flu vaccinations, or acknowledge a declination of the vaccination(s)
