Job Summary
Part-Time weekend Activities Assistant in McKinney, TX. Plan and lead daily activities for residents, support games, crafts, music, events, and wellness programs; adapt activities for residents with memory loss or cognitive impairment; set up and clean up activity spaces and supplies; work closely with staff to create meaningful resident experiences. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and weekend availability; onsite role in memory care/senior living settings.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with seniors preferred, especially in memory care, assisted living, or senior living
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative, patient, and compassionate approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stay active throughout the day
- Ability to work weekends
