Job Summary
Coordinate, direct, and deliver wellness and recreation programs tailored to resident needs while providing hands-on involvement during scheduled times. Assist in planning, orienting, and supervising volunteers, and support the Resident Programs Director in exploring opportunities for emotional, physical, spiritual, social, and intellectual engagement. Manage marketing and promotional materials to ensure professional quality. Requires one year of direct activities programming experience in a skilled nursing setting, basic computer skills, and flexibility with the schedule. Must enjoy working with the senior population.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of direct activities programming experience in a skilled nursing setting (preferred)
- Basic typing and computer skills are essential, preferably in a Microsoft Windows environment
- Flexibility with schedule
- Works well with others
- Must enjoy working with the senior population
