Job Summary
Coordinate and deliver wellness and recreation programs for residents in a skilled nursing facility. Provide hands-on involvement in programs during scheduled times, assist in planning, orienting, and supervising volunteers, and support the Resident Programs Director in expanding opportunities for resident emotional, physical, spiritual, social, and intellectual engagement. Help with marketing and promotional materials to ensure professional quality.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in a healthcare or eldercare setting preferred
- Ability to coordinate wellness and recreation programs
- Strong interpersonal and volunteer supervision skills
- Marketing and promotional materials experience a plus
- Ability to support a Director of Resident Programs
- Commitment to resident engagement and quality care
