Activities Assistant - Senior Living (Full Time)

Create, market, and lead spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional events tailored to diverse resident needs. Engage residents through formal activities and informal interactions while continuously gauging their interests to update programming menus. Plan and facilitate activities consistent with SLC standards, monitor participation to evaluate appeal, and adjust calendars accordingly. Foster partnerships with local organizations to encourage resident volunteerism and bring outside talents into the community. Publish written communications to promote programs and educate families, then share successful activity blueprints with the team. Deliver orientation and in-service training programs with peers, enter assessments into company software, and attend all scheduled education. Maintain awareness of active aging trends to enhance initiatives and may participate in the WAVES pool program or run family support groups.
