Job Summary
Activities Assistant - PRN provides support for participants to engage in program activities and maintain independence. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, guiding group activities (arts and crafts, music, etc.), accompanying participants to and from vehicles, documenting incidents, preparing and cleaning dining areas, and maintaining a safe, organized environment under nursing supervision. Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of elder-care experience. The role is PRN/on-call and located on-site at St. Ann Adult Day Service in Baltimore, MD, with a pay rate of $16.50/hour. The position emphasizes confidentiality, communication, teamwork, and basic Microsoft Office skills, and offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one year experience with elders in a long-term care setting (group home, skilled nursing facility, or day care)
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Licensed GNA with the Maryland Board of Nursing, active and in good standing (PROGRAM SPECIFIC DUTIES)
