Job Summary
Activities Assistants enrich residents’ lives by coordinating, developing, and maintaining quality activity programs; they engage residents in meaningful social and diverse activities, observe and record participation, order supplies, provide bedside activities for residents unable to attend, and drive the community van as needed while upholding safety standards and the organization’s mission.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum of 1 year of experience conducting activities
- CPR and First Aid Certification preferred
- Must have a clean driving record and be able to drive a large resident passenger vehicle
- Prior experience in long-term care, home health or related service industries
