Job Summary
Encourage, support, and assist residents with activities, including transporting them to and from programs via bus. Interact with residents on a one-to-one basis outside structured program times and document attendance and involvement levels. Act as a positive representative while displaying courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff. Perform other related tasks as needed. This on-call role requires a minimum of three shifts per month and offers competitive pay with experience-based raises. Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in senior care environment or related health care field preferred
- Demonstrate good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to display enthusiasm and a positive attitude in promoting activities
- Creative aptitude for training in arts, crafts, and games
- Good communication skills, including ability to give directions to others in a manner that is pleasant and easily understood
